Strength, flexibility, serenity
Bodyflow is an exercise method created for improving  muscle condition, flexibility and general well-being. During the exercises, movements and breathing are connected to form a continuous, harmonious flow.
Elements of Alexander Technique, pilates, yoga and dance are incorporated in the process, along with mental exercises to develop the possibilities of the body. Bodyflow’s creator Janice Redman is a former dancer who started teaching her own method in 1998. Through careful instruction and subtle but powerful movements, her aim is to encourage the natural strength, energy and beauty of the body.
Is Bodyflow suitable for everybody?
Bodyflow is designed for men and women of all ages. The exercises can always be tailored by the practitioner, since most movements are given easier and more challenging alternatives. If a movement feels uncomfortable, it is always allowed (and recommended!) to refrain from forcing the body, and just try again the next time.
We are all different, with our own specific physiological and psychological needs. Whereas some of us enjoy a tennis game, others prefer rock climbing or relaxing with yoga. It is important to always listen to what your body really needs.
Remember that Bodyflow is also a great complement to a training routine for runners, dancers, skiers - practitioners of any sport. It is ideal for increasing overall muscle strength, mid-body control, flexibility and concentration.
Where can I practice Bodyflow?
A wonderful way to practice anytime, anywhere you wish is with the Bodyflow by Janice Redman DVD. It can be used at home, in a hotel room, in your office on a lunch break  - anywhere you have a computer or a DVD player, and a little floor space.

In Finland, Janice and fellow teachers schooled by her give private classes for groups and individuals, and also teach daily at Tamara Rasmussen Opisto, Aleksanterin Teatteri and Yoga School Shanti.
